Data Acquistion Systems

FTA develops flight instrumentation systems for specific test missions: camera systems to record airflow around an external store and separation characteristics, structural instrumentation for real time measurement of loads, stick force measurement, cockpit measurement of fuel flow and quantity, engine parameters, aircraft parameters and any other required parameters. Additionally, we have developed ground control stations for unmanned aircraft (Pioneer and Predator) to control onboard system payloads, as well as record transmitted data.  

• Tactical Environmental System Data Acquisition System to collect data from drop sondes released from Predator aircraft.  
• Instrumentation systems to record flight-test data.  
• GPS integrated positioning system for the counterdrug Tactical Situation Display.  
• Ground vibration testing of external stores.
