Flight Test & Certification

Provide turnkey flight-test FAA/JAA certification testing and Government Public Use certification. Testing such as performance, stability and control, systems qualification, and engine conversions is conducted. Staff expertise includes: experienced program managers; certified military and civilian test pilots; FAA Designated Engineering Representatives; flight test engineers; flight analysts; aerospace, electrical and mechanical engineers; and systems engineers.

• P-2V Tanker Conversion (STC) – Conducted FAA flight test certification for forest fire fighting aircraft.
• Ayres Thrush TC/STC – Conducted FAA flight test and certification efforts for aerial spray aircraft.  
• DC-3 Turboprop Conversion Noise Certification (STC) – Flight test and certification.
• Convair 580/501D-22G Engine Upgrade (Allison STC) – Flight test and certification activities for engine upgrade.  
• Boeing 727/R-R Tey flight test STC program – FAA Flight test, structural engineering, and certification efforts for new side mounted engines on B-727.  
• Lear 25 Williams-Rolls FJ-44 engine flight test STC program – FAA Flight test and certification efforts.  
• F-16XL and AFTI Flight Test – Flight test activities for research aircraft.
• F-15 and F-16 Performance and Flying Qualities Evaluation – Conducted flight test efforts.
• T-38 Lead In Fighter Trainer Flight Test – Program management, engineering, and flight-testing.  
• Lear 36 Belly Radome flight test – Aircraft modification, installation, integration, and flight test certification.
