FTA has a long history of conducting successful flight tests of complex airborne equipment dating back to the 1960s. We have highly qualified multi-lingual managers, engineers, technicians, and test pilots, who have demonstrated capabilities in the following areas:

• FAA (FAR parts 23, 25, and 36) flight test and program management of Supplemental Type Certification (STC) programs.  
• Commercial off-the-shelf development and flight test of U.S. government special mission aircraft using combined military specifications and FAA airworthiness standards.  
• Engineering analysis such as performance, stability & control, structural, electrical, functional hazard assessments, and operational analysis.  
• Manned and unmanned aircraft systems and sensor integration such as structural, electrical, and pilot-vehicle interface.  
• Night Vision Imaging Systems (NVIS) integration.  
• Aircraft icing tests. FTA has use of a FD328 jet aircraft modified to conduct FAA/JAA icing tests in accordance with the FARs and JARs.
